Omnia S2 course ‘Using Finnish at work, starting levels A1.3, A2.1 ja B1.1
The course allows the students to practise using Finnish diversely in working life situations. The course covers language use situations and vocabulary, reading and writing texts related to working life, and discussion about Finnish work culture.

The course is intended for clients who are otherwise ready to enter the workforce but who still require encouragement specifically for using Finnish in working life situations. The course focuses more on practical language use situations than studying grammar, for instance. During the course, the students will read and write a great deal and complete exercises independently, which is why a language proficiency level of A2.1 is the initial proficiency level required.

Conditions for participating in the service
You must be a client of Espoo Employment Services. Your Finnish proficiency level is A1.3, A2.1 and B.1. (writing, reading, speaking) at the start of the course.
When you enrol in the course, you consent to information being shared between the Omnia S2 (Finnish as a second language) course and Espoo Employment Services.
Enrolling in the course requires you to permit Espoo Employment Services to disclose your contact information (name, address, personal identity code, email, phone number) to Omnia.

A1.3 and A.2.1 courses are organised as contact teaching.
