The shared Service Manual of the employment services of several municipalities in Uusimaa compiles services to promote employment and support work ability in the region. If you provide services for unemployed jobseekers in the region, you can have your services added to the selection of the Service Manual.

What is the Service Manual?

The Service Manual is a shared online platform of nine municipalities in the Uusimaa region for compiling services that promote employment and work ability. Helsinki, Espoo, Kauniainen, Vantaa, Kerava, Sipoo, Raseborg, Ingå and Hanko have compiled services into the selection of the Service Manual in cooperation with local service providers. The Service Manual is the only platform in Finland to compile services across organisational boundaries to promote employment and support work ability, as well as related work and process instructions for the authorities. Read more on the ‘Frequently asked questions’ page.

What services are added to the Service Manual and how?

The Service Manual features services that promote employment and work ability. The municipalities have shared guidelines that specify in more detail what kinds of services are added to the service. With that in mind, read the service guidelines of the Service Manual first. If you are unsure whether your service is in line with the guidelines, you can discuss service development and procurements and the suitability of the new service with a representative of your municipality’s Employment Services. (A contact form for new service providers will also be added to the Service Manual soon!)

If your organisation provides services suitable for the service selection of the Service Manual, you will be provided with a user account for the system, whereby you can add the information of the services directly into the system. However, before the services are published on the website, the employment area will provide related work and process instructions for staff so that clients can be directed to the service in accordance with the official duties.
