    How is the service organised?

    Advice on job seeking, education and training. The objective is to provide clients with personal advice and new perspectives into employment, education and training without an appointment. The purpose of the service is not to establish a long-term guidance relationship but to direct the client to a service relevant to the situation. Advice is also available by email: neuvontapalvelut@espoo.fi.

    We can advise you on topics such as:

    • looking for jobs
    • preparing and submitting job applications
    • using the E-services (of Job Market Finland)
    • considering your educational options (a vocational counsellor from Omnia is present on Wednesdays)

    You cannot take care of official job search matters at the information point. The nearest offices where you can take care of official job search matters are the following:

    • Employment Espoo, Piispanportti office,   Piispanportti 10 A (first floor), 02200 Espoo (Mon–Fri 9.00–11.00 and 12.00–16.00).
    • Employment Espoo, Sello office, Leppävaarankatu 3 (second floor), 02600 Espoo.

    The information point is located in Matinkylä, Espoo at the Iso Omena Service Centre, on the third floor of the shopping centre. The same space also houses a library, a health station, and offices for Kela, Koto-Espoo and Hello Espoo, among other things.

    Parking spaces are available at the shopping centre. Parking may be subject to a fee. The nearest indoor car park is P1A, which you can access via the ramp on Suomenlahdentie. The indoor car park has direct lift access to the service centre.
