From Varia to work – short-term training for jobseekers living in Vantaa
‘From Varia to work’ short-term training allows you to develop your skills for the needs of the labour market with the help of vocational education and training. The training is customised with consideration to their personal needs and desired job.

- in need of training
- has the necessary study and working life skills
- genuinely motivated to develop their skills for the needs of the labour market
- has the language proficiency required by the training
- able to study on the unemployment benefit
- the municipality of residence is Vantaa, and the person is a jobseeker in the Vantaa employment area.

If you are interested in the ‘From Varia to work’ short-term training, please contact your specialist at Vantaa Employment Services. They will confirm whether it is possible for you to complete the short-term training while you are on unemployment benefits, and they will guide you to enrol at Varia. How can I participate in the service?
Inside Varia, the client can be guided to short-term training, qualification units, or training leading to a qualification or degree, for instance. Participants in short-term training will receive support for their employment and the development of their skills from Varia’s extensive network and the guidance provided by specialists.
