You can apply for a job supported by employment allowance if you have been unemployed for over 100 weeks or have partial work ability and/or are only able to do specific work or have a disability.

In order to apply for a job supported by employment allowance, you must be registered as a jobseeker with Helsinki Employment Services and meet one of the following conditions:
You have been unemployed for over 100 weeks
OR
you have partial work ability and/or are only able to do specific work or have a disability.
Recruitments supported by employment allowance are carried out by using internal candidate development within the City of Helsinki organisation. Your assigned employment services specialist can provide more information.

How can I participate in the service?
Jobs supported by employment allowance are fixed-term employment relationships lasting 12 months. Helsinki Employment Services will inform you if you meet the criteria for a job supported by employment allowance and if such a position corresponding to your work experience becomes available. Recruitment is carried out via the City of Helsinki’s recruitment system.
