Benefits of participating in the service
The civic orientation course will provide you with extensive information to support your integration. The course will teach you about Finnish history and culture as well as Finnish society and its values. In addition to these areas, the course will cover topics such as housing, work and livelihood, studying, and the rights and responsibilities of individuals.
Conditions for participating in the service
You can participate in the course in your first language or another language in which you are proficient. The employment area specialist will let you know when a civic orientation course is available.
