Who is the service for?
Come and attend a recruitment event if you feel that you are immediately able to enter the open labour market and know how to apply for a job. You must be able to describe what kind of work you are able to do, what kind of help you may need with it and when you are able to start working.

How can I participate in the service?
We organise various recruitment events at which employers operating in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area look for employees. In most cases, you can simply show up at an event. Some events require advance registration, and there may be a limit to the number of attendees.
Työnantajatreffit recruitment events are open to all. Some other events, such as TalentMatch events, have a more specific target group. If you want to participate in virtual events or set up meetings on a digital platform, you will need digital tools. When attending events in person, you should bring your CV with you in a format that allows you to easily present it to employers.
Potential employers must be able to reach you. Your situation in life must allow you to start a job. You know what kind of work you are able to accept and what kind of support you need for work.
Recruitment events provide you with a new boost and ideas for your job search, in addition to allowing you to meet employers.
Many events offer the opportunity to attend an interview, and some events allow you to schedule one-on-one discussions with employers in advance.
How is the service organised?
Some events are organised as in-person events, while others are virtual events held on an online platform. You can directly find a job on the open labour market, or your path to employment may travel through pay-subsidised work or a work try-out. The procedure is slightly different at different events. Some events allow you to attend a quick interview. TalentMatch events usually provide the opportunity to ‘pitch’ to companies, meaning giving a brief self-introduction in front of an audience.
Recruitment events are organised in cooperation with various operators at different locations, such as the Sello, Iso Omena and Lippulaiva Shopping Centres and Innopoli in Otaniemi. Some events are organised as virtual events online, and there are also hybrid events featuring both an in-person portion and a portion organised on an online platform.
