At Edistia’s workshop, you will improve your work ability and functional capacity. With our support, you will identify your skills and clarify your plans for the future. We will help you find a job or a place to study. In addition to carrying out work at your own workshop, you will participate in joint events and training sessions. We will also practise everyday life and stress management.
How is the service organised?
Toteutamme Edistian Espoon Kilon toimipisteessä kuntouttavaa työtoimintaa työpajaympäristössä. Teemme tiivistä yhteistyötä Edistia-säätiökonsernin muiden toimialojen, oppilaitosten ja yritysten kanssa. Tarjoamme työtoimintaa tarpeen mukaan joko osallisuutta lisäävänä tai työllistymistä edistävänä kuntouttavana työtoimintana sekä joustavasti näiden yhdistelmänä. Voimme toteuttaa kuntouttavaa työtoimintaa myös etävalmennuksena.
Hyvinvoinnin tueksi järjestämme mm. liikuntaryhmiä, irti tupakasta- ja painonhallintaryhmiä. Panostamme mielenterveyden ja päihteettömyyden tukemiseen vertaistukiryhmissä, joiden ohjaajilla on lähihoitaja-koulutus. Suomen kielen vahvistamiseen tarjoamme viikoittaista opetusta sekä keskusteluryhmiä.
Edistian työpajaympäristö

We provide rehabilitative work activities in a workshop environment in Edistia’s premises in the Kilo district of Espoo. We work closely with the other divisions, educational institutions and companies belonging to the Edistia Group. We offer work activities in the form of rehabilitative work activities that either increase participation or promote employment, or a flexible combination of both, as needed. We can also provide rehabilitative work activities as remote coaching.
To support wellbeing, we organise exercise groups, quit smoking support groups and weight management groups, among other things. We focus on supporting mental health and abstinence from substance abuse through peer support groups facilitated by trained practical nurses. To help people strengthen their Finnish proficiency, we offer weekly lessons and discussion groups.
