Rehabilitative work activities (Espoo)
The rehabilitative work activities are a social service organised in accordance with the Social Welfare Act for the purpose of strengthening the ability of long-term unemployed persons to manage their life and everyday routines, and work ability.

Rehabilitative work activities are intended for you if you have challenges related to your work ability and functional capacity and have been unemployed for an extended period of time, and these things make it challenging for you to enter the workforce or participate in other employment services.

Challenges with work and functional capacity
The organisation of rehabilitative work activities is based on an activation plan that you draw up together with an employment services specialist and social welfare specialists of the Western Uusimaa wellbeing services county. The activation plan specifies your goals during the service, the support you will receive, and the duration and content of the service.
Conditions for participating in the service
The rehabilitative work activities are a statutory service implemented by the Western Uusimaa wellbeing services county. There are no separate requirements for participating in the service.
How can I participate in the service?
Rehabilitative work activities are provided as workshop activities in groups. Work activities are organised at different locations around Espoo, and they offer a wide range of content to meet clients’ needs.
