Study paths for long-time immigrants living in Finland (slow, basic and fast)
For immigrants who have lived in Finland for an extended period of time and who are no longer entitled to an integration plan but who require training to improve their Finnish proficiency and working life skills in order to find a job.

Who is the service for?
This training is for you if you have lived in Finland for an extended period of time. The training particularly focuses on developing Finnish language and communication skills, information and communication technology skills and working life skills. Additionally, the training includes personal guidance and an on-the-job learning period lasting six weeks. Training is organised according to three different learning speeds (slow study path, basic study path, and fast study path).

How can I participate in the service?

Your assigned specialist assesses your need for services.
Benefits of participating in the service:
- During integration training, you can complete certificates required in working life (such as the hygiene passport or occupational safety card) if necessary.
- You can complete a national certificate of language proficiency (YKI certificate).
- The process to seek recognition of a foreign degree may be initiated during the training.
- A portfolio will be compiled during the training, containing the key documents related to education and training you have completed, your plan for the future and job seeking. You can utilise this portfolio in applying for training and searching for a job.
