How can I participate in the service?

When you receive a job offer, you must follow these steps:

    1. Contact the employer.
    2. Notify the employment authority within the deadline that you have applied to the job offered to you.
    3. Notify the employment authority about whether you received the job or not. The primary ways to send a notification to the employment authority are via the E-service or by phone.
    4. Accept a job offered to you with a job offer by the employment authority or directly by the employer.

PLEASE NOTE! Working part-time is not a justified reason not to apply for a job.

Conditions for participating in the service:

Job offers are presented to you after careful consideration and in a targeted manner, taking into account your situation, education, previous experience and work history.

When you apply to a proposed job, the employer considers your suitability for the position and makes the final choice regarding the person chosen for the job. The requirements vary according to the job.

The employment authority monitors that you apply to the offered job as required in the offer.

Benefits of participating in the service:

The key aspect of the job offers is their quality. The goal of high-quality job offers is employment. Another principle is serving the employer: meeting employers’ needs for employees as quickly as possible with suitable applicants.

    How is the service organised?

You are sent job offers that match your previous work experience, education and skills. The goal is to present offers evenly to everyone. At your request, it is possible to present you with more offers. Once you have applied to a job, the employer decides whether you are suitable for the available position.

Job offers are personal employment services that are based on the discretion of a specialist. They constitute an assessment by a specialist that your professional skills and expertise as a jobseeker match the requirements of the job offered.

The initial interview, job search discussions and supplementary job search discussions create good conditions for making apt job offers. Job offers in combination with your independent job-seeking efforts can help you find a job faster. You can fulfil your obligation to search for a job by applying to an individualised job based on a job offer made by a municipality in a pilot area.
