Who is the service for?
The Job Search Club is open to all jobseekers living in Vantaa who need minor assistance with their job search. If you are 15 to 29 years old, we recommend that you join Ohjaamo’s Job Search Club, which is held at Ohjaamo Vantaa on Thursdays from 12.00 to 15.00. Click here to see the Ohjaamo events calendar! How can I participate in the service?
Participation is voluntary. No appointment is needed.
If you have your own computer, you can bring it with you to the club. If you do not have a computer, you can use a borrowed one while at the Job Search Club.
If you have online banking credentials, bring them with you to the Job Search Club.
Conditions for participating in the service:
To participate in the Job Search Club, you need to have sufficient command of Finnish or English.
The club does not offer IT education. You should know the basics of using a computer, such as how to turn on a computer, create a file and use email.
Benefits of participating in the service:
You will receive practical help with your job search. At the Job Search Club, you can work with a coach to improve your CV or job applications, or you can receive tips for job-seeking.
How is the service organised?
The Job Search Club can provide you with light assistance in your job search, such as helping you draw up a CV and job applications.
There are 2–3 job coaches present at the club who will help and guide you in matters related to job-seeking. The coaches are present on Wednesdays from 9.00 to 11.30. The club closes at 11.30 – please bear this in mind when deciding how much time to reserve for your visit.
