    Who is the service for?

    For Sipoo residents aged 18 to 29 who are not in education or employment. In exceptional cases, a person under the age of 18 who has completed their compulsory education may participate.

    How can I participate in the service?

    • Low-threshold service: Young people can apply for the workshops at their own initiative or guided by authorities or training providers, for example. The service is free of charge.
    • Continuous application process: You can apply for a workshop at any time by filling in the application form available in the My Services service of the municipality of Sipoo. The next new group will start in January 2026.

    Conditions for participating in the service:

    The young person’s municipality of residence must be Sipoo, and they must be 18 to 29 years old and unemployed or not in education. Their level of physical fitness must be such that it is actually possible for the young person to find employment or start studies in the near future.

    Benefits of participating in the service:

    • Individuality: The activities are adapted to the young person’s personal goals and skills. The activities help young people achieve their own goals, enter the workforce or enroll in studies.
    • Job coaching plan: We will draw up a personal plan for each participant, setting out the objectives and measures to be taken.
    • Work try-outs: Young people will have the opportunity to try out different types of work in practice, which will help clarify their career plans.
    • Cooperation networks: Close cooperation with local businesses, educational institutions and other stakeholders offers a wide range of opportunities for young people. Young people can apply for compensation for expenses for the days they spend participating in workshops. On the days when they participate in workshops, young people can eat lunch for free in the canteen of a local school.

    How is the service organised?

    Contact teaching for the most part, may include small online segments. Group guidance for the most part, but each participant will receive individual coaching. The service includes individual plans for each participant. The service is organised as a work try-out contract for the client.
