The Employer Services are primarily intended for employers operating in the Uusimaa region.IHH’s services are suitable for international individuals who have recently moved to Finland and the Helsinki Metropolitan Area and who need to initiate official matters with public authorities for the first time. Pre-arrival services are also available online for those planning a move to Finland before they even arrive in the country.
Additionally, IHH’s services are suitable for private clients and employer clients who belong to the target group and require advisory services and services that will support them in settling in.

IHH is a hybrid service. Its various services are available in person (appointments and walk-ins), by phone and online (webinars, website, email and chat). Some official services provided by public authorities require you to make an appointment in advance.

International House Helsinki is a joint service point that offers most of the advisory and official services required by newly arrived immigrants under one roof. Additionally, IHH offers advice on international labour and its recruitment as a remote service for employer clients.
The public authorities represented at International House Helsinki include the Cities of Helsinki, Espoo and Vantaa, Employment Services, the Digital and Population Data Services Agency (DVV), the Finnish Tax Administration (Vero), the Social Insurance Institution of Finland (Kela), the Finnish Immigration Service (Migri), the Helsinki Region Chamber of Commerce, the Finnish Centre for Pensions (ETK), and the Central Organisation of Finnish Trade Unions (SAK).
