This service is intended for you if you are a jobseeker client of Employment Espoo. You do not have to be unemployed in order to participate in the coaching. You must be able to commit to the coaching for five days and have the following: adequate digital skills; your own tools (computer, tablet or phone); if necessary, the possibility to borrow a computer; a working Internet connection; and a sufficient level of language proficiency that allows you to read and write independently. The coaching requires you to have a proactive approach to completing the coaching. You can receive personal support and guidance from the coach, both during the actual five-day coaching period and further personal counselling.

You can sign up for the service at any time according to the schedules for the groups. If you are interested in participating in either job search coaching or career coaching, please submit a contact request to your assigned specialist via Job Market Finland’s E-services or fill in this form. The information will be forwarded to your assigned specialistexternal link, opens in a new tab, who will contact you and handle the actual registration.
Benefits of participating in the service
The service will support you in your job search (updating your job-seeking skills and documentation) and/or career planning (identifying educational opportunities, finding your direction, and identifying paths forward).
Conditions for participating in the service
Basic digital skills, proactivity in completing coaching exercises independently, your own tools (you will need a computer to work on your job search documents, so you must at least be able to borrow a computer for a time) and a working Internet connection.
How can I participate in the service?
Job search coaching and career coaching online is a coaching service for jobseeker clients of Employment Espoo. The client will participate in either job search coaching or career coaching as per their wishes. Both types of coaching will last for five consecutive weekdays, from Wednesday to Tuesday of the following week. The coaching takes place on the service provider’s online platform. Participants will complete the exercises at their own pace, but the coach can also provide support, and you can book an appointment with the coach for personal counselling. During the coaching, you can take part in workshops that focus on various topics. For one month following the end of the coaching, you will still be able to book appointments with the coach, receive further personal counselling and make use of the content of the online platform.
The goal is to end your unemployment, find you a job, and/or for you to take up studies as soon as possible. The coaching will provide you with the capability to pursue the aforementioned solutions, and, at the end of the training, you will have a realistic plan on how to proceed.
