    Who is the service for?

    The service is intended for all young people under the age of 30 who require help with their job search, studies, housing, financial matters or other challenges in their life.

    Come and visit without an appointment or call our telephone service.

    Conditions for participating in the service:

    The service is intended for Sipoo residents under the age of 30.

    You have our multi-professional team (a social instructor, the employment authority, outreach youth work and so on) at your disposal, which allows us to direct you to the correct service provider immediately. The service is individual, confidential and based on your needs.

    How is the service organised?

    Ohjaamo is a low-threshold guidance and advisory service for people under the age of 30. No client relationship is established with the service.

    Ohjaamo can direct you to the other services of the municipality of Sipoo (Employment and Immigrant Services), the employment authority, or the services of the wellbeing services county or Keuda.  

    Ohjaamo offers diverse advice and support with matters such as the following: 

    • job search and enrolling in education and training
    • drawing up a CV and job applications
    • Employment Services and contacts with employers
    • study and career planning
    • financial support and social benefits
    • advice on housing and life management
    • direction to mental health and wellbeing services
    • information on hobbies and leisure time
    • advice on summer jobs and joint application processes.

    Entry to Ohjaamo via the main door of the building, activities on the 1st floor. Entry to the youth workshop via the main door, activities on the 2nd floor. A lift is available, if needed. Wessman House features an Ohjaamo unit and a youth workshop.

    Available without an appointment. You can also make an appointment for a separate meeting at Ohjaamo or use the services by phone. The telephone service is available Monday to Friday 9.00– 15.00, tel. +358 50 331 4265. An employment authority is present from 13.00 to 15.00, plus changing guest specialists.
