Who is the service for?
The target group of Ohjaamo Vantaa includes all young people below the age of 30 who reside in Vantaa. The service is particularly intended for young people who have questions about becoming independent and the transition stages in life. For young people, Ohjaamo is a place where they can go to start sorting out their own situation or ask for help with something that is on their mind. Our specialists can help you on location and guide you to further services.

How can I participate in the service?
When you arrive, our employee will receive you. Tell them what kind of advice you need. If you would like to meet a specific specialist, please note that the advisory services may be busy from time to time. We help clients in the order in which they arrive.
Abstinence from substance use is a requirement. To participate in the service, you must be a Vantaa resident under the age of 30.
At Ohjaamo, you can also interact with professionals from various industries. Ohjaamo offers help with questions related to work, education and training, subsistence, housing, wellbeing and free time.
Specialists from Vantaa Employment and International Customers Services are present at Ohjaamo’s guidance centre every weekday. Additionally, there are different professionals in various fields present at Ohjaamo each week, such as a Kela customer service specialist, social instructor, youth counsellor, outreach youth worker, study and careers adviser, and housing counsellor.
How is the service organised?
Ohjaamo is a free-of-charge advisory service offered by Vantaa Employment and International Customers Services for people under the age of 30. Ohjaamo Vantaa is open 12.00–16.00 from Monday to Friday. See Ohjaamo’s exceptional opening hours on the Ohjaamo website.

You can come to Ohjaamo without an appointment to talk about matters that are important to you. Ohjaamo offers information and support. At the guidance centre, we always have more than one counsellor present. You can also call us or send us an email. You have the option to contact as anonymously, and we can arrange for an interpreter for you.
