    The advisory services offer help with matters related to the job search process and unemployment security as well as general advice on education and training. You are welcome to use the computers and printer available at the service point.

    Who is the service for?

    Jobseekers living in Vantaa. The service is intended for unemployed jobseekers, persons at risk of becoming unemployed and every resident of the municipality who wishes to receive advice on matters related to employment and unemployment security as well as guidance on searching for a job or student place.

    How can I participate in the service?

    The advisory services in Vantaa are available Mon–Thu 9.00–15.00 and Fri 10.00–15.00. You can contact the advisory services by phone or visit in person without an appointment. You may use the services anonymously.

    Conditions for participating in the service:

    If you wish to use the services on another person’s behalf, you need a power of attorney..

    Benefits of participating in the service:

    The advisory services will provide you with guidance on questions related to the job search process, education and training, and unemployment security. 

    A consent form is used. You can log in to the E-services. A power of attorney allows you to use the services on another person’s behalf.

    How is the service organised?

    The advisory services’ service point is located next to the train station in Tikkurila, Vantaa, at the address Vernissakatu 1, 5th floor, 01300 Vantaa. The advisory services are available Mon–Thu 9.00–15.00 and Fri 10.00–15.00, serving clients in queue number order.  The telephone advice service is available Mon–Thu 9.00–15.30 and Fri 10.00–15.30.

    You can visit the advisory services in person without an appointment or contact the services by phone or email.
    If necessary, you can submit a contact request through your assigned specialist. You may use the services anonymously.

    The service is available in Finnish, Swedish and English as well as other languages, depending on which staff members are available. The other service languages include Arabic, Somali, Kurdish, Dari, Farsi, Finnish Sign Language and International Sign.
