Conditions for participating in the service:

Participating in psychologist services requires you to be interested in participating in the services in order to consider your situation together with a psychologist.

Benefits of participating in the service:

You will receive clarity on your direction in life and career path as well as more information about your options. Your skills will be identified, and, through this, your chances of finding a job will improve.

    How is the service organised?

The guidance from a psychologist provides you with an opportunity to stop and think about your situation and wishes together with the psychologist, and to gain new perspectives. The goal of the guidance is to support you in making choices for your future.

Guidance from a psychologist is a confidential service that is provided free of charge. Guidance is available in Finnish, Swedish, English and through an interpreter, depending on the municipality. Clients are served face-to-face and via phone and video connection.

Each guidance session lasts for about an hour. You can participate in one or more sessions. The guidance may also include tasks, tests and guidance to work try-outs or education trials.

Psychologist services are available at all service points of employment services.
