Who is the service for?
The service is aimed at immigrants living in Espoo who are outside the labour force. The service is suitable, for example, for parents who are on parental leave or for people over 65 years old. Regarding seniors, the person must have the integration period on-going. The stay-at-home parents, whose integration period have already exceeded, can participate in the activities.
You can join the Koto-Espoo courses with your children, who are not yet in daycare. The courses include free childcare.

How can I participate in the service?
You can become a customer of Koto-Espoo if you live in Espoo and
- you are on parental leave.
- you are over 65 years old and received your first residence permit less than three years ago.
- you are outside the workforce for other reasons.
You can participate without knowing Finnish or Swedish. You can participate even if you cannot read and write well in your own language.
Koto-Espoo offers opportunities to study the language and strengthen working life skills. You will receive information about study opportunities and various services. We organize childcare during our courses.
